2. Whenever medicines are given in physiological doses, the result is first palliation and then suppression of actual aggravation of that condition. Physiological doses suppress the natural expression of the disease. The Vital Force should be allowed to be express itself in its own way when it is deranged. If it goes uninterrupted, then alone do we get a clear picture of the disease. But if medicines are given in physiological doses, it changes the whole picture by suppressing one symptom after another, until there is no expression of the true condition of the diseased patient. (a) e.g. opium is given for cough. Now, this opium will initially suppress the cough, but then the patient develops night sweats a nightly bouts of cough, fevers, etc. (b) e.g. Salicylate group of drugs invariably cause trouble to the heart in patient of rheumatic arthritis. Thus suppression always camouflages the condition but never removes it. In facts, the disease reappears in a more exaggerated form with more dangerous manifestations in some other vital organs or in much more serious condition in the same organ. 3. Suppression of a disease by external applications of medicines in skin disease. The skin manifestations can be removed by external applications, but it does not cure. A chronic miasm that has been expressed through the skin is forced to hide its head and go into a deeper vital organ. 4. Suppression occurring by means of suppressing the natural secretions/eliminations of the body. Suppression of perspiration in armpits by using medicinal powders prevents elimination of waste matter through the natural channels. Therefore this waste must be taken up by some other part of the body. 5. Another form of suppression is the removal of the diseased organ by surgical means where the Vital Force had expressed itself. When we remove the tonsils, we remove the end product of the disease. Here we do to set the Vital Energy in order for it to function properly. Thus, suppression is a cause of many constitutional diseases. Energy cannot be destroyed; it can only be transformed and it's manifestations changed. This is what happens when manifestations are suppressed by procedures practiced by the mecical fraternity. As a result of suppression, the energy released gets deviated into a new channel and different manifestations are seen. When these are treated homeopathically, the new channels gets closed and the energy flows back into the old channel with the return of the suppressed manifestations. They disappear in due course as the Simillum succeeds in modifying the reaction that results in energy release. Some examples of suppression 1. Suppression of eruptions causes: - Cataract - Coma - Fever - Ear drum degen - Mania - Haemoptysis - Nausea - Meningitis - Mental and physical weakness - Sudden weakness - Urticaria - Urine trouble - Asthma 2. Suppression of piles causes: - Colic - Heart trouble - Leucorrhoea - Memory weakness - Nausea 3. Suppression of sweat causes: - Amenorrhea - Dysentery - Prosopalgia - Suicidal tendencies - Toothache 4. Suppression of urine causes: - Emaciation - Fatigue - Headache - Bloody stool - Perspiration 5. Suppression of menses causes: - Lack of sex drive - Colic & chilliness - Eczema - Chronic depression - Leucorrhoea - Milk in breasts - Hemicrania - Nervousness - Piles - Work aversion 6. Suppression of eczema causes: - Asthma - Cough - Convulsions - Deafness - Entero-collitis 7. Suppression after vaccination: - Abscesses - Acne on chin - Asthma - Bronchial - Conjunctivitis - Convulsions - Eczema & itching eruptions - Eczema on inner side of thighs - Swelling of shoulder - Diarrhea, hair loss, insomnia, loss of speech, paralysis, whopping cough - Cough, diarrhea, fever, nervousness, nausea, ulcers - Red, scruffy skin or postular rash |
